A Retrospective: The week that was – 19w29

This weekend I binged watched an old Disney show, review coming up soon.

I try, every month, to clear my TBR on GoodReads. I keep on adding more to the list, tch. I read Amal Unbound, finally. It has been sitting on my TBR for a year, literally! I had added it on June 27, 2018. To quote Frank Zappa, So many booksso little time.

Anyway, the review is scheduled to be posted on Saturday, insha’allah.

I did not read anything else this week.

I crocheted ten more rounds of my cardigan. It is not turning out as well as I had hoped. But, there is still time until winter arrives.

This week’s writing efforts were focussed, almost. I wanted to publish the Hindi edition of Maybe Someday (released on July 1, 2019), Kahin Kisi Roz (released on July 20, 2019). That’s two books of this month. I need to ready for August release now.

Office was great. A lot of work got done, without people annoying me.

It is ‘sweety Friday’ and today’s treat is this.

I just found out that it is called ‘Red Velvet cupcake’. I DO NOT like it. It is too sweet for my liking. Maybe, if it is accompanied with chicken tikka or pakora or something like this.

How was your week?
