It is time to review the latest episode of Pyar Ke Sadqay, episode 24, that aired on July 2, 2020.
Washma has changed her mind. She doesn’t trust the entire male species and doesn’t want to marry Hassan anymore. Lalarukh calls him Ehsaan, by the way. Bas ek alif Ka farq.
Shanzey presters Abdullah to get a divorce first. Abdullah snaps at her, for the first time. Is it the beginning of a positive change? Is it only me who finds Yashma’s accent annoying?
Khalid asks Abdullah to join his office. Why would Sarwar object? It gives him a freehand to steal more monies from Shahbaz’s office.
Mahjabeen blames herself. First Dr Hammad dumped him for Nilofer and now Abdullah dumped her for Shanzey. With all the innocence we’ve come to associate her with, she wonders: only clever girls can be loved. Uff, that pained expression.
This isn’t enough. Munshi Rizwan is arrested. Helpless Mahjabeen calls Abdullah for help. Sarwar is so evil, he talks shit about Mahjabeen whilst Munshi is behind the bars.
Mansoora is completely under Sarwar’s influence. For the first time, however, Abdullah takes a strong decision to contact his lawyers and bail out Munshi.
Mahjabeen has her own issues. When she sees Munshi’s pain, she wonders. “How can they beat up an older man?”
My heart goes out to her. She lives in an ideal world but also so practical. She seeks Abdullah’s help only because she knows the rich people can help. She even decides to meet Mansoora for help.
They arrive just in time for Abdullah’s engagement with Shanzey. But our girl is strong. She talks to the point, congratulates them and leaves.
Sarwar blackmails Mahjabeen: marry me and your father will be bailed.
What has this drama come to? It started on such a fun note and now people are behind the bars. I didn’t see that coming.
