It is time to review the latest episode of Pyar Ke Sadqay, episode 27, that aired on July 23, 2020.
This episode begins as Washma tells Mansoora that her decision to turn a blind for what Sarwar did is unacceptable. Mansoora responds with silence.
Washma is not the only one who gets the silent treatment. Shanzey calls to threaten Abdullah: If you don’t divorce Mahjabeen, I will refuse at the time of nikaah.
Washma later meets Sarwar. She now knows everything, and she knows that Mahjabeen isn’t lying. Because
- Munshi told her
- Mahjabeen is too innocent to lie
- Washma has faced Sarwar’s harassment herself
Damn! Does Mansoora know? Does Lalarukh know? Does Abdullah know? Nobody knows.
Lalarukh once loved Sarwar. Double damn! Lalarukh had stepped aside to make way for Mansoora, so Mansoora could have a second chance at love. Didn’t work, didn’t it?
Mansoora tells Abdullah to not sign the divorce papers, and not tell Shanzey. A mother telling her son to lie, bhai waah!
There is some tragedy as Mahjabeen visits Munshi’s grave. She vows to study harder, become rich and avenge her father’s death. Seema and Mahjabeen now seek solace in each other. Mahjabeen has fever and she think that she might die.
سیما کا جواب: اللہ اتنا بے رحم نہیں ہو سکتا کہ مجھے بےسہارا چھوڑ دے۔
The episode ends as Washma takes Mahjabeen to the doctor and the doctor announces: she’s expecting.
Huh? I never thought of this twist. How did that happen? Weren’t they too naïve for that? I mean, Abdullah followed his step father’s advice to “not go near her” and Mahjabeen’s idea of pregnancy is… Well… We have seen it once already. Will the history repeat itself? Will Abdullah divorce her now? Is the doctor lying? Is it all Sarwar’s ploy? We will know in next episode.
Srha Asghar impresses me yet another time, especially in her confrontation with Sarwar.
