Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi
The story of Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi revolves around a son of a business tycoon, Shehreyar, who falls in love with Mehak, belonging to a middle-class background.
Some unpleasant events occur during the course and Mehak starts hating Shehreyar; and since Shehreyar’s family does not approve of his relationship, the story tangles up even more.
The drama has some of the biggest names of the industry.

I have been meaning to add this for as long as this drama has been on air. Now, I do. Whatta song!
Let’s get to this episode.
We see Sheru and his wife travelling in a bus. Their son has high fever, but Sheru alights from the bus three kilometers away from the destination. I guess he is trying his best to avoid any run-in with the police.
Farwa is so mad at Mahek that she even threatens Dara against favouring Mahek. Dara is unperturbed by Farwa’s outrage, though. I like how Dara warns Farwa and reminds her of a superior power who would intervene into these matters.
Mrs Dilawar tells her husband to accept Mahek, give her a chance at least for Shamsher’s sake. Nawab Dilawar is too arrogant to relent. I don’t like the way he pulls his hand away from his wife.
Shamsher is pretty damn confused about Mahek and her family. While Nawab Dilawar tells that Mahek and her family is after the monies, the reality tells something else. Akram is in the hospital and Rehan is striving to get the funds for the hospital bills. This can’t be right. And Shamsher is rightly confused.
Nawab Dilawar still says something to insult Akram. Mahek can’t tolerate this and tries to object.
Nawab Dilawar: Jab main bolta hoon to sab sunte hain.
Nawab Shamsher Dilawar: Biwi hai meri. Mujhe accha nahin lagega ki koi iss tone mein baat kare.
I like his stance for his wife. And I also like how upset Nawab Dilawar and Farwa were.
Farwa’s sister sees Mahek in the car and insults her. Sophia talk rudely to Mahek, but Shamsher is right there to deal with that brat. And then he laughs maniacally as usual.
Tum ne mujhe kisi ko munh dikhane layaq nhain chora hai.
Behen, “tum” kyu bol Rahi ho? Itni dosti ho gayi shauhar se? Haha.
So, Mahek is at the hospital. Andleeb is there to ruin everyone’s peace of mind.
Sofia’s taunt haunts Shamsher (see whR I did there?) He wants to announce his marriage to Mahek, but how? He has no effing clue. Waleema, that’s how. Shamsher is so dumb.
Shamsher meets his friend Shahmeer to find the truth behind Mahek’s death. Also, to seek help for disclosing his relationship with Mahek.
Waleema, that’s how. Shamsher is so dumb. But Shahmeer doesn’t call out this stupid friend.
Anywho, so after a visit to the hospital, Shamsher, Mahek and Shahmeer go to a restaurant for lunch. Shamsher goes to the washroom. Just then, someone else also conveniently comes to the same restaurant.
Sofia, that’s who.
And this girl has the audacity to humiliate Mahek yet again while she sits like a manequinn.
Shamsher comes back, of course, just in time. And then he takes out his anger on Sofia.
Good on both actors’ part as they both emoted beautifully, but then…
What are we trying to depict here?
I agree, Sofia crossed a line, an ethical line. But, Shamsher crosses a physical line. He enters into Sofia’s space while threatening him. Seriously! Does this man have any limits?
Sofia’s hair goes from light waves to light curls in scenes.
See? Told ya.
Romanticising abuse, ufff!
This drama goes to another level while romanticising abuse, and many people have been talking about it. In this episode, however, the abuse gets physical and it goes beyond Mahek and Shamsher.
Just look at how Shamsher drags Sofia from her own house and then pushes her towards Mahek.
Apologize!!! He roars.
Bhai, iss pe kyu gussa kar raha hai?
And why is that girl taking this shit from him?
Why can’t she slap him right back for this abusive behaviour?
Idon’t have any answers. All I can do is roll my eyes and say astagfirullah!
