Paristan Episode 17 Written Update & Review
Hamza and Noma are planning for Pari’s birthday. Now that Arsam has supposedly fallen in love with Pari, he is completely and totally onboard with the whole surprise birthday party. Kids and Arsam go out for buying presents for Pari. Cue product placement. This time it’s Sana Safeenaz. Brand placement koi Hum TV se seekhe.
“Aaj pata chala ki inn balon ke neeche dimagh bhi hai,” Arsam tells Hamza. It’s lines like these where Arsalan Naseer seems in his element reminding us of the comic that he is on his YouTube channel. Romance doesn’t suit him. He’s handsome and charming but I just can’t feel the romance in him. Either he’s uncomfortable to be more romantic or he needs to better his expressions. Ishaque is willing to ruin Mehreen’s love life, and Haseena is hellbent on ruining Babar and Ujala’s, and by extension Pari’s. Thode paise ke lalach mein she’s looking

I stand corrected about my earlier prediction. The proposal Ishaque brought was not the same as Azar. My storyteller mind comes up with scenarios and cliches that I deem fit in the current story. By the way, this is the first prediction that has gone wrong this Ramzan. I shouldn’t be disheartened by one little set back. Ahem.
I have also realized that watching daily episode leaves little room for me to ponder over the performances or dig deeper in the events of the episode. It is like, show me more and be done with it.
