Aakhir Kab Tab Episode 21 Written Update and Review

Alright, so things are well between Fajar and Saim. Once he’s back home, he confronts Nilofer. Khisyani billi khamba noche, so Nilofer snaps at her son.

Saim then talks to Nimra. He says things to instigate Nimra. She eventually tells the truth-it was Nilofer who insulted Safiya. And just like that Nilofer breaks down and defends her actions. Bas tumhein khush dekhne ke liye sab ghalat salat karti gayi.

Bas? Itni si baat? She has crossed many a lines. This was so easily resolved. Don’t wike it.

But Fajar comes back home. So, at least one of the love stories has reached its end. Unless Zafar comes back. I hope he doesn’t, though.

But this episode does offer a few wow moments. The first one is when Ehtesham tells Noor:

Tum beta ho hamara.

In that very scene, Noor asks her father:

“Do you feel proud of me?”

I like it. I mean, some would say that she should be very strong and that she should not seek any approval from anyone including her father. But I feel her. Every daughter seeks her father’s approval, especially if she is touted to be utter failure. No, this isn’t my personal story, and no, I’m not crying. Shut up!

So, I was saying, I don’t mind that Noor seeks her father’s approval. She needs a pat on the back. Who doesn’t?

Ehtesham is back home. I stand corrected. Fareeda Begum hasn’t changed her ways. For once, Safiya confronts Fareeda Begum but Ehtesham doesn’t say a word. This is one step towards the betterment.

Noor has another problem at the factory. She seeks Nasir’s help and the whole issues straightens as if nothing has ever happened. That budhha still hasn’t learnt his lesson, one can tell. I’m not liking it. We see the mazdoors refusing to work under a girl, then they attack her, then she’s back to work and the same problem arises, then Nasir’s presence fixes things, and I’m guessing that the buddha will strike again. I don’t like repetition. Ek baar ho gaya, do baar ho gaya, bas na ab…

We see another very cute and very romantic scene between Noor and Nasir. I don’t understand Noor’s reaction, though. Itna subdued reaction?

Oh, and nice plug of Hum Kahan Kay Sacchay Thhay. We hear the OST in Yashal’s voice as Safiya and Noor talk after the day ends. Nice!

I loved Adeel’s performance in this episode, again. I hope he comes in this rom-com-ish role again. Last I had seen him in Daasi, but that role was not so interesting. He should a full-on romantic drama like Mata-e-Jaan Hai Tu.

I will be back with Parizaad’s review tomorrow. Until then, check out my stories.

So long!

  1. oh, are the two written by the same person? that’s interesting. I get it though. some projects you write for fun. I would have loved Shehnai if it was a fun little 10-episodes thing with wedding, and only a little bit of conflict with less background noise.
Both don’t want to marry each other, then one person changes mind, then the other, then some conflict, and then finale–that would have been great, no?

  2. Liza says:

Yup gotcha hahaha but ohmy this script is really well written so far! I can’t believe he wrote shehnai because that draaagged

  3. I’m sure he will come back and Nasir will help to deal with him but I don’t want him to come back, you know what I mean?

  4. Liza says:

i heard srha asghar say in an interview that she was reading the script for AKT until 26 so maybe there are 26 eps? or perhaps more than that. and i also heard azfar rehman say that his character will reprise again in the later eps
