Aye Musht-e-Khak episode 25 written review and update

Bobby follows Dua and Taqi, and punches Taqi. That little chaotic meeting also showed Taqi’s true feelings for Dua. Dua may have feelings for Bobby, but Bobby’s behaviour is enough of a red flag for Dua to cut ties from Bobby. I mean, they are divorced alright.

Taqi comes home with a bruise on his face. His mother is devastated to see him. She wasn’t too keen on making Dua her daughter-in-law. This tiff with Bobby proved to be the last nail in the coffin. She puts her foot down and refuses to Dua’s proposal.

Back at home, Dayaan tells Sajjad and Nimra that he was the one to tell Bobby about Taqi’s proposal, and that he (Bobby) should back out.

Nimra and Sajjad meet Mustajab. I would understand why Sajjad is so mad at Bobby. But I had not expected him to slap Bobby. That was a surprise. And the bigger surprise was that Bobby didn’t lash out. Instead, he admitted of being wrong, and apologized. Hain? So, our angry young man has changed already? Nice!

Now, Bobby has a new quest–why doesn’t Dua accept him back? I was like, dude, if you put that much effort into actually correcting your faith, you would have solved the problem that caused the divorce. For the first time, we see Bobby becoming Mustajab. He meets Imam Sahib and tells him that he is willing to accept Islam, again.

The scene of Mustajab reciting learning the first two kalmas of imaan was so superbly done. I think now we will see the real Feroze Khan. So far, he was so freaking loud. It would be nice to see a subdued Mustajab/Feroze.

Daniyal Afzal Khan has little screen time, but this guy is good. He should get bigger roles, like the one in short film Mr & Mrs Abdullah on See Prime. Review to come soon.
