Dil Awaiz

This is a story of a young girl named Dil Awaiz who despite living in her father’s house is treated as an orphan and is deprived of love and care. Dil Awaiz’s father, Shahab Uddin is an influential and wealthy businessman who keeps his distance from his firstborn, Dil Awaiz due to her mother’s past. Things take an unexpected turn when a handsome, young man Sikandar enters Dil Awaiz’s life and once again she is expected to compromise and sacrifice herself in order to save her family’s honour and respect. Despite living like an outsider all her life will Dil Awaiz be able to make yet another sacrifice? Even after all the atrocities, will Dil Awaiz be able to gain due respect in the house?

Dil Awaiz Episode 30 Written Update & Review  

Trouble has already started to seep into Dil Awaiz’s marital life. She is talking rudely to Sikandar for no reason at all, she lies to her husband and she is absent-minded most of the time. I wonder how Sikandar tolerates this. Dude has patience. Dil Awaiz is unreliable, but then, Sikandar is also quite reliable.

Dil Awaiz is so sulky and brooding that even Bushra notices her. She talks to Dil Awaiz, and tells her to be strong and confident and stop worrying about Faria. 

“Give more attention to Sikandar, give him more time,” Bushra tells Dil Awaiz. “A woman has to be more strong when there are threats outside.”

Very well said, aunty ji.

Kashan keeps calling Dil Awaiz but it is Bushra who picks up thrice. She even vows to complain about these blank calls. Despite knowing who it is, Dil Awaiz picks up the fourth time. Seriously? Like, seriously? Why are heroines so stupid? Did she have to pick up the call?

Kashan threatens Dil Awaiz and disconnects.

Bas, heroine ka rona shuru.

Sarmad is anxiously waiting for Dil Awaiz. Since Gaiti has promised him that he will “get” the girl, his impatience has no limits now. This time, when he comes to talk to Gaiti, Tamanna Begum also overhears the conversation. So many lies, so much deceit. This drama is getting a little out of hand.

Dil Awaiz and Sikandar come to haveli. Dil Awaiz lies to Nawab Shahabuddin about the phone. She doesn’t tell him that she is in contact with Tamanna Begum.

Later, while Dil Awaiz is weeping and sulking with Akka Bi, Faria takes this opporunity to pataoing Sikandar. I don’t understand Sikandar. Why does he entertain Faria? When he knows what Faria has in mind, why does he talk to Faria?

Dil Awaiz and Sikandar both are stupid. So stupid!

There are far too many flashbacks in this episode, whether it’s Dil Awaiz thinking about Kashan’s threats or her being rude to Sikandar, or Nawab Shahbuddin reminscing about Sitara. This simply drags the episode. And I hate it. I initially liked the drama because it is a forced marriage trope with some complications. But now, there are more complications than romance.
