Drama Review | Dil-e-Momin | Episode 24

A little recap of episode 23

Gohar tries to talk to Maya, but Maya threatens him.

Dil-e-Momin episode 24 written update and review

This drama is stooping from lower to lowest. I have never seen any ruckus on a funeral. This drama did that, and it’s not a good thing. Everybody is weeping and some taunt Momin for killing his father. Momin loses his temper, but then… why did he snap at the funeral. He could have done it before, or he could have done it later.

No, this isn’t shit. Shit is what happens later.

Maya comes to the funeral. She learns about Shahzad’s demise. She should be remorseful, right? She is, a little bit. But she still says: “Momin ne jo kiya us ki saza us ke baap ko nahin milni chahiye thhi.”

Momin ne kuch nahin kiya hai. I’m sure there is a redemption arc somewhere for Maya. But no matter what she does, she would never redeem herself for me. NOTHING. She is no different than Amal in Dunk.

The episode ends as Waleed regrets what he has done to Fari.

I like this Waleed dude (Harris Waheed). He is still standing by Momin’s side, the only one to be by Momin’s side. Does he believe in Momin? If so, what’s the logic? That Maya scene that hinted that the accusation was false, that happened later.

“Bas kar dein. Nauzubillah, Khuda na banein. Bete se us ke baap ki mayyat ko kandha dene ka haq na chheenein,” Waleed says to Jameel.

Faisal Qureshi has killed it in this drama. He is so freaking talented. The drama might be crappy, but Faisal shines all the way.

Did Momin always had hair so brown?
