Drama Review | Sinf e Aahan | Episode 14

A little recap of episode 13 of Sinf-e-Aahan

So, the girls are home after six weeks, after their first term.

Sinf-e-Aahan episode 14 written update and review

Kiran’s mystery is getting a little annoying to me now. Kiran and Osama head to the party. They also run into Sumaiya yet again. Sumaiya finally realizes that Major Taimoor is no more, and that Kiran has remarried Osama. This Sumaiya woman is so nosy.

We see Shaista sitting with her family, eating dinner, telling stories about PMA. I love how she constantly bickers with her dadi. Such lively characters make the stories so real and entertaining.

Arzoo is also home, and Naurez calls Arzoo hoping to woo her back. I like how Arzoo treats him. It was long overdue. Naurez treated her like shit, and now it’s payback time.

I often question why Asad Siddiqui always chooses small roles, especially negative ones? He played Ayaz, a flirt photographer in Dilruba. And then this Naurez. Why doesn’t he do a full-feldged hero thing? He’s so charming.

Mahjabeen passes the test, and then calls her parents to come and get her. When Mastan says that he will have to drive in absence of the driver, I wondered what it has to do with the story, but then we know.  Mahjabeen changes the tyre, impressing her parents. Nice scene.

And then enters Asim Azhar as Nasr, Rabia’s ex-fiance. That scene is quite entertaining, the way Nathami puts up a fight for her friend is so endearing. Nathami can’t stop asking questions about him but Rabia shuts her down. Later, when she’s trying to  sleep, she can’t stop thinking about Nasr. Nasr also calls

Asim has come a long way as an actor. I remember his earlier telefilms. Kitna chomu dikhta thha. Now, when we see him even talking over phone, he comes across as a man who is desperately trying to mend his mistakes. He also looks more handsome now that he has grown up. That boyish look is gone. He did look like a fauji. We see the real Sajal Ali in this episode. I mean, so far, her character is that of a girl who is determined to be a fauji but also fusses over little things. Her little conversation with Nasr and then later Nathami impressed me immensely. It also reminded me why Sajal Ali is such a highly regarded actress. Superbly done, Sajal Ali!
