Drama Review | Sinf e Aahan | Episode 6

A little recap of episode 5 of Sinf-e-Aahan

Sinf-e-Aahan episode 6 written update and review

Periwesh’s mother is confronted by two women from the village, and she ends up telling them that Periwesh is joining the army. I am sure Sardar will learn about it soon. Life wouldn’t be easy for Jamal family.

We see Shahryar Munawwar as Osama, and his wife. They have a daughter, and it seems like they are over-protective of their daughter. He comes from Baloch Batallion, and is tasked to train the female cadets. His wife gets an offer to teach at a school.

Mathew Pariera arrives in Pakistan. Captain Farooq from first batallion takes her to PMA. She falls in love with the place. I think there is something about the army campus. We have a military camp in our city. Every time I pass by it, I feel like stopping by saluting. It might be funny as I say this, but when it actually happens, I get goosebumps.

We see all the girls arrive at PMA one after the other. Mahjabeen and Shaista are the first ones do meet. As it turns out, Mastan is also a Pashtoon.

Shaista tries to guilt Mahjabeen for not knowing Pashto.

“Mujhe Pashto kaise aayegi. Urdu to itni mushkil se aati hai,” Mahjabeen says.

Such a hilarious scene! Yumna Zaidi is natural as ever. She is such a terrific actor.

Daniyal also sees Mahjabeen and tells Rabia to keep the rivalry aside. I don’t think either girls are willing to keep their rivalry aside. Rabia’s mother is worried about her, and Daniyal gets one of the most expected lines of this drama

Sinf-e-Nazuk ban kar aayi thhi, Sinf-e-Aahan ban kar aayegi,” Daniyal tells his mother.

The other duo to meet is Arzoo and Sidra. It was a very fun scene, and Dananeer both excel in the scene.

The phone conversation between Arzoo and Nauroz was almost like a closure. This was needed. Nauroz was just playing with her emotions. It’s time that she moves on. But the scene was a bit slow. Thodi fast edit karte toh behtar hota.

Mastan meets Osama and offers some “help” which Osama refuses. Money doesn’t buy soldiers, people! Very nicely executed scene.

Jamal faces a fear – Sardar sees him and Periwesh at PMA. I liked how Osama handled the two fathers. One was showing off his money, one is worried about her daughter’s exemption from army. Two situations and two versions of an officer… Officer’s have a heart of gold, my friends. Simply loved the conversation between Batallion Commander and Sardar!

This episode is just full of funny scenes. I’m going to re-watch it now.

What to expect from episode 7 of Sinf-e-Aahan?

The training will start and I’m sure all the girls are in for a surprise, except for Arzoo. She has her expectations right.
