SSG gang awaits their punishment
SSG gang awaits their punishment

The first episode of this new drama is intriguing, engaging and interesting. We meet all the characters, yet it leaves us with enough curiosity about their back stories and their relationships.

Later, we see she and her family visiting to Murrey for a surprise. I think she’s getting engaged to her cousin Raheel.

Review

I love the exposition – how each member of the SSG turns and the warden introduces them. Enough is revealed about all the characters to keep you engaged. Yet, a lot of mystery remains about what those characters and their relationships are.

Osman Khalid Butt has a terrific comic timing and gets the most dialogues.

Ahad Raza Mir is handsome but sorry I didn’t like his acting, not in the first episode.

Ahmad and Wahaj do full justice to their roles. Ahmad Ali Butt is okay. I have seen him before. Sharique is quite good-looking, I must admit and he acts well. Impressive!

Zara, uff… Okay, I have a back story.

I hated her when I saw her in interviews and talk shows. Her nasal voice, her infrequent laughter and the fact that she’s married to Asad siddiqui (omg, he’s handsome, just like his uncle). But then, I watched her more – in interviews and videos. I started to like her. She’s exemplifies acchii bachhii image. She talks softly and politely with everyone. And this is the first time I am seeing her act.
In this drama, I like Rani’s confidence, how she talks back with her teacher and gets caught.
اتنے فرے اور پرچیاں اس کے ہاتھ میں کہاں چھپائی۔

Alizey Shah seemed rude in the opening scene. But weren’t their car at the back? How did the accident happen, then? I don’t understand.

Rameen, isn’t she Komal from Miss Veet contest 2017? She’s playing Saad’s sister. I like her very much.

One thing that stood out like a sore thumb was the mess scene. Except for the five characters, others at the table are simply eating. I mean, they could have at least laughed on the jokes.

That been said, I thoroughly enjoyed the first episode. Looking forward to this drama.
