I am back with my review of sixth episode of Ehd-e-Wafa. Before we begin, check out the Cast and Characters and previous episodes.
Plot Summary
Saad is unusually happy about seeing Dua. Saad has quite a friendly relationship with his mother. On her last day before joining PMA, he goes to the park to see her. But alas, they aren’t in the same area of the park and couldn’t meet each other.
سعد: وہ آئے گی۔ انشاء اللہ۔
ماں: محبت نے میرے بیٹے کو مسلمان بنا دیا۔
We see the family at PMA, saying goodbyes. That’s one good-looking family, isn’t it?
Faraz shakes hands with his son, that irritates Saad. But hey, Faraz comes back to remind him that he was the best student of PMA, finally hugging him. Awnnn!
The registration etc is fast forwarded. The haircutting scene followed by uniform measuring scene was funny.
Saad’s roommate Gulzar Hussain is a whiny man and he gets him into trouble as they end up getting punished on day 1.
Gulzar is not well-versed in English. During their introduction, Gulzar asks a million questions about the right way to introduce himself.
گلزار: میری باری پر تو چلا جا۔ میں ذرا اپنی انگریزی پکا لوں۔
دوسرا کیڈٹ: جتنی پک گئی ہے، جا کر وہی کھلا دے۔
Gulzar fumbles during the interview and one of the officers encourages him to talk in Urdu. He’s fluent and confident otherwise. Another important character in the series, I would say.
Shahzain is still hung up on the whole “getting married to Dua” shit. To make matters worse, his mother is with him on the mission. The mother son duo are plotting to stop the alliance with Rani.
Chaudharys are invited at Malak’s house and Rani is getting ready for the dawat, a little too ready.
Here’s how her mother reacts when she sees her.
Shahzain’s younger brother Shahzaib offers to help, if Shahzain would allow him to go to dera to playing cricket. At Malak’s house and Rani blahs her way to impress her future mother in law.
Does you want to play with me? She asks.
Shahzaib is bored and Rani offers to play cricket with him. Now, we know he’s setting up their meeting. The kid is cute.
Review
The first thing that comes to mind is, “High Definition”. The quality is really good and I am happy. The previous episode omitted Sharique from the scene. This episode didn’t show Sharique and Shahryar at all. What’s happening?
The next episode will show Rani and Shahzain meeting on the terrace. I can’t wait for that. It is going to be epic.
