PLOT SUMMARY & MY COMMENTARY

Farhan tries to justify his actions and talks shit about Rida. It irks Faham and he threatens to kill Farhan.

Zeeshan has completely lost his mind and is hallucinating about Rida. He calls Rida. Good, at least he will feel better after talking to her.

The trio and Khadija are glad that Rida is innocent and the culprit is behind the bars. Khadija likes Zeeshan’s proposal and is seriously considering it.

Shameela overhears the conversation, as usual, and is jealous with Rida, as usual.

Faham wants to send Rida out for higher studies as she has cleared her exams with A grade.

Rida and Khadija aren’t talking to Shameela. So, she dials Zeeshan’s number. Zeeshan calls her back to congratulate her on her results. She acts as though she has Rida’s best interest at heart.
How did she unlock the phone?
How does she know Zeeshan’s number?
Why did Zeeshan talk without hearing her voice?

It worries Khadija nonetheless. So, the next morning she announces that she would say yes for Zeeshan’s proposal. Faham agrees with her, Asim is totally against it, and Hatim seems neutral.

REVIEW

Farhan has only one expression throughout his 2 minutes’ scene in the police station.

The celebration was childish at best.

Saba Faisal is so good in the last scene with Rida. Emotional yet subtle. Kudos, ma’am.

I have read and reviewed the book and something tells me that it wouldn’t be as heartbreaking as the novel’s plot line. I mean, Zeeshan wouldn’t be so bad as Rohail. Would he?
