I started this series on a whim. When I posted the first one here, to be honest, I did not know people are so curious to know about these characters. Incidentally, I know answers to some of these questions, so here goes. You can thank me later.

Alif

There is a lot of curiosity about Taha and Husn-e-Jahan and their relationship. Let me answer a few questions, even though it is a major spoiler.

It is Qalb-e-Momin who caused the stir in their lives. He wrote letters to Allah. Husn-e-Jahan wanted to fulfil his wishes. As Taha did not have a steady income and could not provide for Qalb-e-Momin as much as he would have wanted, Husn-e-Jahan contacts Sultan. She wants to sell off her paintings that Taha had painted, hoping it would get her enough money to buy stuff for Qalb-e-Momin.

Taha gets a job and is returning happily with sweets etc when he spots Sultan at his house. This enrages him so much that he leaves the house, forever.

To sum it up, it was Qalb-e-Momin. Husn-e-Jahan’s mistake was that as a loving mother, she wanted to give her son everything she could.

How did Taha die?

Rab sohne di marzi… Allah ki marzi… He died natural death, nobody killed him, if that’s what you want to know.
