In this post, I will quickly review the 22nd episode of Chupke Chupke which aired on May 5, 2021.
So, the ever-so-liberal brother Haadi suggests that Faazi should take Meenu out for a dinner to sort things out. Bhai waah!
Haadi and Mishi are also on a date. Mishi is worried that Haadi will get hitched to Natasha. I sympathize with her.
Haadi has no guts to take a stand, nor does Faazi. This drama has two protagonists who can’t take a stand.
Faazi and Meenu’s date doesn’t happen, of course.
They don’t even get to the restaurant. They spot Rumi and Mani, Faazi panics and slams the car. Instead of the romantic candlelight dinner, they spend the time at the workshop getting the car fixed.
Meenu is upset, and I don’t understand the reason. If you wanted to spend time together, you could talk to each other at any location. The conflict is unnecessary and tiny, in my opinion. We should have had something huge to keep us on the edge of the seat. They will spend the whole life fighting and arguing.
The other conflict is Gul’s unnecessary intrusion in Faazi’s married life.
I like the wordplay between Faazi and Gul when they bicker in the beginning of the episode. But that’s all I liked.
Oh, and that scene in kitchen when he buys kheer from the shop because Meenu can’t tell salt from sugar.
Chalo, let’s wait for the next episode.
