Drama Review | Parizaad | Episode 6

Alright, so the show is definitely not following the novel’s script. But I know for sure that all the ladies that Parizaad encountered in the novel WILL be there in the drama.

I still don’t understand Bubbly’s role.

Parizaad, the new HUM TV drama is based on Hashim Nadeem’s novel of the same name. For brief summary of the novel and my review of the same, read here.

Parizaad episode 6 written update and review and rant and whatever…

Okay, so let’s get to the sixth episode. In this episode we will know if Parizaad falls prey to the greed or takes the moral high ground.

Saeeda is asking for help from Akbar and Asghar. Kubra who runs the show at the household makes sure that she crushes Saeeda’s self-esteem like old paper. Saeeda needs three lakhs to re-establish Saleem’s business, Parizaad needs twenty thousand to buy a piano. But there’s no money. Will Parizaad accept Nasaaz’s suggestion to marry Bubbly.

He does, Nasaaz has spoken to Shaista and Shabbir. Bubbly seems to be happy about this, too. Parizaad is so cute when he’s blushing.

Huh, that’s so simple.

But, wait!

Parizaad’s life isn’t so simple. Bubbly runs away. Why? Why did she run away? She liked Parizaad, right? There were friends for sure.

Love the lines by Nasaaz that depicts our society’s dual standards about boys and girls. What beautiful words! Reminded me of Hashim Nadeem 🙂

Shaista and Shabbir leave for their native place, so does Nasaaz. Parizaad is alone, again.

Ek ek karke sathi bichadne lage…

So long, Nasaaz!

(He’ll be back)

So, one girl has left Parizaad. Bubbly made Parizaad feel more confident about himself. And now, another girl makes her entry as Parizaad joins the university.

Mashal Khan makes her entry as Parizaad’s university fellow – Lubna. Her name isn’t revealed yet. I’m telling you that. You heard it here first. Breaking news… 🙂

Parting Thoughts

I liked to scenes from this episode.

1. When Shaista and Shabbir leave for their native place

2. Parizaad breaks down after Nasaaz leaves. Ahmed’s performance steal the show yet again.

I’ll meet you with another post, soon. Until then, remember me in your prayers.

Assalamualaikum!
