There are two type of people in this world – those who love Harry Potter and others who don’t.
As I noted in my first post, I was blackmailed into reading this series.
I didn’t like the beginning of this one. But after first three chapters, as usual, I went crazy in the Potter world.
Book 5: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
GoodReads Review (Posted On August 20, 2018)
I know, I know. I’m still mourning the death of Sirius Black, but can’t wait to find more. Can’t wait to see Harry grow as a person. And I’m on vacation for a week. Might as well get it over with.
“Greatness inspires envy, envy engenders spite, spite spawns lies. ”
A quote by Tom Riddle Marvolo
Done with HP#6. I said I won’t. But I had reasons. There are a few things that stand out.
HP 6 does not start with Harry at Privet drive, which was usual for earlier five books. The adventures begin early on, not much of dursleys or academics either. Harry and Dumbledore spent a lot of time together and now we know all about he-who-cannot-be-named.
I knew we’ll lose Dumbledore some time. But it is still painful. Oh Harry! First Sirius and now Dumbledore… He’s getting more and more independent, but the story is more and more painful.
I wish it’s over and soon.
