Book Review: Harry Potter Series – Conclusion

Background:

There are two type of people in this world – those who love Harry Potter and others who don’t.

As I noted in my first post, I was blackmailed into reading this series.

If it wasn’t for the blackmailer, I would have missed on great piece of writing.

Conclusion:

If you look at the dates, I inhaled the last three books in three days. I was home for Eid-ul-Adha vacation and had plenty of time to read.

And I read the last one on August 22, 2018. That the day of Eid.

Yes, it also means that when my family was busy preparing for the Eid and even when the meat was getting cleaned, sorted and distributed; i was glued to my phone and crying my eyes out as some of my favourite characters died one after the other in the battle of Hogwarts.

One character that I would want to bring back was Sirius Black. There were many deaths throughout the series, specially the last one killed too many good folks. But I mourned his death for a few days before moving on to the next book.

Beyond Conclusion:

I need to re-read it again. This time, I will read it slowly and patiently and savour each word.

I love Harry (and Sirius).
