Plot Summary & Review

As the title suggests, it is a Christmas romance. The story is centered around Harper, a divorce attorney. She is ready to settle a divorce for her client Noelle, but things don’t go as per the plan. Noelle decides to get back with her husband Riley despite Harper’s better judgement. It doesn’t help that the opposing counseller Gabriel is handsome and charming AF.

She has had a rough past when it comes to love, and she is surrounded by people who have had troubled marriages. It makes her cynic and pessimist. To make things worse, her Christmas plans get cancelled at the last minute.

Long story short, she ends up in a Christmas cabin with Gabriel. Initially reluctant to share the cabin, they get along well. They prepare for the Christmas reminiscing their past, remembering their parents. And soon they fall for each other.

It was a nice little season romance, and I kept my logic at bay. It was a fun and quick read. Susan Hatler specializes in lawyer romance 🙂 I liked the other romances I read from Susan: Her Wedding Date and The Second Chance Inn
