Wahaj Ali is the face of new Pakistani dramas. Wherever I go, I see one of his dramas. After binging 17 episodes of Tere Bin in one night, YouTube also started recommending me his work. And that’s when I realized. I have watched many of his dramas/telefilms. And that’s when I also realized that I don’t have this list, not that anyone asked for it.

Here is a list of his work in the order that I have seen.

Tabish in Dil-e-Berahem (2019)

Although the story was revenge driven and Ali had not much of presence, I do count this one as well

Love Siyappa Telefilm (2020)

Wahaj plays Shahabuddin, an aspiring actor from Nawab Shah, who also doubles as a fictional Ahmad Kamal to impress the landlord/lady Naina

Asif in Haqeeqat | Episode 1 | Daghabaaz

Asif was a widower who likes Mona but then fell for Anaa’s adaayein.

Shariq Habib in Ehd-e-Wafa (2020)

One of S in S4 gang. Coming from a humble background, he made his mark as a fearless journalist.

Rizwan in Ghisi Piti Mohabbat

Rizwan/Riz was the laa-ubaali ladka that Samia fell in love with.

Jamshaid/Jimmy in Dil Na Umeed To Nahi (2021)

 

Basim in Ishq Jalebi (2021)

One of Saima Akram’s best dramas and one of Basim’s best roles

Hamza in Fitoor (2022)

The rich, suava and “obsessed” guy who is truly, madly, deeply in love with Dilnasheen. I still can’t get over his sincere yet casual confession in the first episode.

“You know I love you,” Hamza tells Dilnasheen.

And his first apperance while he is leaning against the bright yellow car, just awesome.

Saad in Mujhe Pyar Hua Thha (2022-2023)

The guy you’d want as your friend, your cousin, your husband. I’m not reviewing it because I watched only one episode, episode 12, but I’m mighty impressed.

Murtasim in Tere Bin (2022-2023)

Murtasim is the ultimate fantasy of a woman-he’s harsh, he’s kindm he takes care of you, he changes you for the better. And Wahaj brings this character to life so well. There was a reason I binged all 17 episodes in one night-For Murtasim.

Daniyal Majeed in Jurm (2023)

He plays the super-rich, introverted guy who’s married to Ayla and is accused of kidnapping his own wife.
