Aakhir Kab Tab Episode 32 Written Update and Review
Alright, the much awaited finale episode is here. This really was awaited. I had been waiting for the same since episode 26. So, it’s time to review the episode.
In the previous episode, we saw that advocate Iftekhar and advocate Rubab are head to head against each other fighting for Zafar and Fajar respectively.
Iftekhar requests the court to discard Aiman’s statement because she’s Zafar’s ex-wife. It isn’t unusual for an ex-wife to speak against her husband.
Iftekhar presents his next witness – Bisam. Bisam speaks the truth and we see many (unnecessary) flashbacks. But he does tell that Fajar wasn’t a mental patient. This isn’t as dramatic as it generally is. Your prime witness going against you, it adds quite some drama in legal proceedings. But this scene was only to make you cry. I liked that Bisam addressed Safiya directly, because his case wasn’t for thr court to rule. As Bisam’s statement isn’t in Iftekhar’s favour, he pleads to proceed for the final decision.
Bushra is Rubab’s last hope, the last hope for this case, but she loses the battle against life. Rubab is left with nothing but to bring her ace – present Fajar Ehtesham.
Wait, what?
No, I’m not talking about Fajar being alive. We had established it in the previous episode itself. What surprised me was that Noor and Rubab both knew. I am guessing they were let in on the the secret at the last minute. Iss tarah toh hota hai iss tarah ke kaamon mein…
Fajar’s statement is a recap of all the shit that she has suffered throughout her life. Srha Asghar does what she has done in this episode, makes us fall for the poor girl Fajar.
Bisam has acted well, so well that I sort of forgive his character. The way he breaks down and collapses in the witness box just breaks my heart. This guy I look forward to seeing in more dramas. Watch his witness scene, beautifully done.
Your honour is too loud when she talks to Iftekhar, but she has showed some emotions when she sees the videos. That disgusting look on her face is how everyone should look at Zafar. Her last speech was also much needed in today’s age where women are a target for mental, physical and sexual assaults.
Now, off to the much-needed finale scenes. Fayeqa says that she doesn’t trust Bisam and can’t live in the same house.
The best scene is when dado gives her hearing aid to Safiya. She does keep her promise. Gul-e-Rana has performed so well without uttering a single word whether it’s the scene when she first hears the news or when she apologizes to Safiya. Veteran at her best…
We see Fajar talking a class-full of girls without stammering, without hesitating, without fearing anyone.
The drama ends as Noor tells all the girls the difference between the right touch and the wrong touch and what their rights are.
I sort of expected thst Iftekhar would support Fajar’s case when he found out about Zafar’s lies, but I was wrong.
I am disappointed that they didn’t show anything for nilofer. She was no less than a vamp in Fajar’s case. We should have seen some closure there. Also, I would have loved to see dado’s and Ehtesham’s reaction upon seeing Fajar alive. The drama dragged for so long. Ek do scene mazeed add kar dete, nahin?
Right, so that concludes this drama. Off to sleep.
I will be back with Parizaad’s review tomorrow. Until then, check out my stories.
So long!
