Mere Ban Jao Episode 4 Written Update & Review

Fardeen treats Zaki like a servant. He orders around to bring bags and then get it back. Then, he asks Zaki to call Azmiya out. Of course, Zaki refuses.

Fardeen pressurizes Azmiya to go out without telling anyone, and agree to do anything. Thankfully, Zaki was listening to this conversation. He fakes a phone call and sends the two back inside. I wonder if Zaki realizes just how awful Fardeen is.

In the shop, Aslam teases Zaki about his one-sided love. Long story short, Aslam suggests that Zaki tells Azmiya about his feelings.

~

Zaki is at Azmiya’s house (I don’t know the reason). One thing leads to another, Zaki tells Azmiya to learn to say no. Very well written scene. Zaki gets all the good lines, of course. But I still enjoyed the lope-sided conversation.

Affected by Zaki’s lecture, Azmiya talks to Salma. Salma gives a different lesson altogether. Now, our silly heroine is more confused.

Azmiya and Salma come to attend Nadra’s wedding. Azmiya and Zaki talk to each other, but Azmiya breaks Zaki’s heart.

“We can be good people for each other, but we can’t be good friends,” Azmiya says.

Their conversation is interrupted by Nadra, who seems determiend to do something terrible. We call know what she’s about to do-she refuses the ijaab of nikaah. She isn’t happy with this proposal, and this is how she takes revenge. Her logic is not wrong, but her manners aren’t acceptable.

Azmiya is more confused. She is also impressed by Nadra’s boldness and fearlessness. I am sure she is thinking if she could ever take a stand for herself.

Fardeen takes Salma’s permission to take Azmiya out for lunch. I think the worst is about to happen, in the next episode.

Review

This episode was quite fast-paced. I don’t understand certain things, like why was Zaki present at Azmiya’s house all the time, on all important occasions. Other than that, I quite likes the episode.
