Introduction

HUM TV’s drama serial Mere Ban Jao is a story of love, trust, deceit and repercussions. Featuring the versatile Zahid Ahmed, Kinza Hashmi and Azfar Rehman in lead roles, the serial conveys a very important message related to the use of social media, repercussions of blind trust and sharing of personal and intimate moments online without realizing the disaster it can cause and the impact it can have on one’s life. Produced under the banners of Moomal Entertainment and MD Productions, the serial is written by Samira Fazal and directed by Ahmed Kamran. Starting from January 11, 2023, the serial also features Rabia Naureen, Ayesha Gul, Fazila Qazi, Qaiser Nizamani, Hira Tareen, Noman Habib, Afraz Rasool and others.

Mere Ban Jao Episode 5 Written Update & Review

Azmiya isn’t comfortable going out with Fardeen. She refuses, even begs Fardeen but Fardeen plays his cards right. He makes Azmiya apologize, for no reason, and still keeps an upper hand. Her mother and Fardeen’s parents blame things on Azmiya. Aisa koi modern family hai na, hadh hai. I like that Azmiya has taken Nighat’s advice seriously – Jo hoga nikaah ke baad…

Zaki comes bringing some jewellery (I like how they created excuses to bring Zaki in this house). He notices that Azmiya and Fardeen have some tiff again. Zaki has a sharp eye, that’s the takeaway from this scene.

Nadra isn’t eating dinner with her family. The way Zaki notices it and asks her to join them, it was so cute. And the way he tells her to wash her face, that was great, haha great.

Nadra is cray, I tell you. She wears her bridal outfit for Azmiya’s wedding. Despite Hajra’s reprimand, she doesn’t change. This girl has no qualms. And I like it, I don’t know why. The next scene is the nikaah ceremony. Seeing Zaki hurting hurt to watch… But nikaah to ho gaya.

I had not expected this. Mujhe laga thha ki nikaah ke pehle hi koi mojza ho jayega…

But something did happen, after the nikaah. Fardeen comes to Azmiya’s room. The same cat and mouse game starts but Azmiya puts her foot down. Fardeen acts as if he is the victim. He loses his temper and then says the teen talaq. He blames everything on Azmiya even after coming home, that she’s the idiot, that she made him say talaq. Fardeen’s character is more nuanced than I had imagined. He has some sort of complex and I would love to see how far his character goes.
