Tere Bin | Episode 52

Introduction

Tere Bin is a new drama on HAR PAL GEO (Well, it’s not that new). Here’s a snippet from Geo’s official YouTube channel.

Meerab is an ambitious and beautiful young girl who wants to pursue higher studies. Her entire world revolves around her parents and she believes in them the most. Her strong and confident personality makes her stand against social injustices around her.

On the contrary, Murtasim hails from a powerful and influential family. He respects and values the morals and traditions of his family and refuses to let the family down.

Meerab’s life takes an unexpected turn when she finds out about her family’s decision regarding her and Murtasim’s life. Meerab’s hatred towards Murtasim continues to grow as a family secret from the past resurfaces. Coming from different backgrounds and mindsets, Murtasim begins to realize Meerab’s arrogant behaviour towards him and begins to consider her a challenge for himself. On the other hand, Meerab who is used to living her life on her own terms refuses to accept Murtasim’s family traditions and unnecessary social barriers.

Soon their lives go through a series of emotional sufferings and misunderstandings where it becomes difficult for them to coexist. Despite their hatred towards each other, will Meerab and Murtasim accept their true feelings or will the dynamics of ego and self-respect force them to stay apart?

Tere Bin Episode 52 Written Update and Review

Assalam Alaikum dear readers,

Shabana Mukhtar here, to recap and review the latest episode of Tere Bin.

First up, let’s take flashbacks out of the way. This episode also had it’s more-than-fair share of flashbacks. There was drama, so much of it, I can’t even begin to tell you.

~

Murtasim’s Relent Pursuit

Murtasim is still putting all the efforts trying to locate Meerub (and he still thinks that Meerub has disappeared with Rohail).

~

Meerub’s Arrogance

She’s silly, she’s naive, and takes wrong decisions. She’s also lucky that someone or the other is always there to help her. But she’s still so arrogant. Whether it was with Murtasim or Salma Begum, she was always the stubborn person who was almost always wrong.

And the same continues even though she is living with strangers now.

~

She’s always sulking and when the kind hosts (Khalid and Ruqaiya) insist on knowing the reason, she threatens them, sort of.

Meerub: if you guys have a problem, I will go someplace else.

I’m not suggesting that she tells them the truth. No. If she is uncomfortable, she can keep quiet, but she can do 2 things.

  1. Stop crying
  2. Start being nice.

Is that asking for too much?

~

The truth comes out, almost

Meerub asks Farrukh to check on Saba once. Farrukh runs into Murtasim and connects the dots.

He comes home, tells that Murtasim Khan is looking for Meerub all over the city. That, and many things on the similar lines. And then, he comes to right conclusion.

Farrukh: I think she’s lying.

Meerub: I’m not a liar.

And guess what she does next?

She lies!

You guessed it right, no prizes there.

Meerub: my family wanted me to marry him, and I didn’t so I left the house.

Okay, now some might argue that it was partially true, but that’s a lie. She DID get married, and…

So, another feather into Meerub’s cap–she is also a liar.

Aur kitni khoobiyan hain iss heroine mein?

Let’s see what transpires in the next episode. Drama khatam toh nahin ho raha, elastic ki tarah khincha chala ja raha hai…

Review

Asim Mehmood surprises me in the drama. I have seen him as Ammar, an irritating spineless character in Angna, and the younger version of nawab in Dil Awaiz, but hated his character in both dramas. In this drama, he’s kinda the good Samaritan so you can’t really hate him. And he’s spot-on with his expressions. Good job, bacha.

Also, this episode was like 60% flashbacks so, it was quite easier and quicker to finish, hehe.

As I say in almost every review these days, I’m losing interest in this drama, all the dramas. I don’t enjoy them as much as I used to, but that doesn’t mean that I’m whining about Tere Bin for no reason. This drama has no steam left to entice the viewers. Wahi baat elastic wali… drama khincha chala ja raha hai…

So, that’s the commentary on the latest episode of “Tere Bin”. How did others find it?
