Introduction
Tere Bin is a new drama on HAR PAL GEO (Well, it’s not that new). Here’s a snippet from Geo’s official YouTube channel.
Meerab is an ambitious and beautiful young girl who wants to pursue higher studies. Her entire world revolves around her parents and she believes in them the most. Her strong and confident personality makes her stand against social injustices around her.
On the contrary, Murtasim hails from a powerful and influential family. He respects and values the morals and traditions of his family and refuses to let the family down.
Meerab’s life takes an unexpected turn when she finds out about her family’s decision regarding her and Murtasim’s life. Meerab’s hatred towards Murtasim continues to grow as a family secret from the past resurfaces. Coming from different backgrounds and mindsets, Murtasim begins to realize Meerab’s arrogant behaviour towards him and begins to consider her a challenge for himself. On the other hand, Meerab who is used to living her life on her own terms refuses to accept Murtasim’s family traditions and unnecessary social barriers.
Soon their lives go through a series of emotional sufferings and misunderstandings where it becomes difficult for them to coexist. Despite their hatred towards each other, will Meerab and Murtasim accept their true feelings or will the dynamics of ego and self-respect force them to stay apart?

Tere Bin Episode 57 Written Update and Review
Assalam Alaikum dear readers,
Shabana Mukhtar here, to recap and review the latest episode of Tere Bin.
Aha, the day has come.
Finally!!!
The day when the poster of Tere Bin carries the much awaited “2ND LAST EPISODE” sticker.
Even though this episode was like 60% flashbacks and the events weren’t exactly amusing, I didn’t hate this episode because it brings a promise that soon, very soon, this will all be over.
Alright, so first let’s talk about the flashbacks. This episode showed a wisely chosen selection of flashbacks, the ones with #meerasim is at its best, the witty repartee, their banter, their romance… Basically, the makers want to remind us all of the magic that Tere Bin once had.
Shehr mein, hoon main tere
Aake zara mil to le…
So, Saba and Meerub meet.
Saba talks to Meerub, at length, about their future: of Meesam and Meerub. And that Meerub should get back with Murtasim. Khalid and Maimoona are also supportive of the same idea. Saba finally convinces Meerub to go and meet Murtasim before it’s too late. Three things stand out from this conversation.
1. Saba didn’t tell Meerub about Murtasim’s engagement with Haya.
2. Meerub adamantly refutes Saba’s suggestion initially.
Saba: you didn’t even had money to settle the bills for a few stitches to Meesam. Meesam needs her father.
Meerub: thanks for paying the bills.
What? You couldn’t see what Saba was talking about? You arrogant silly woman.
3. The conversation was punctuated with Meerub’s name. It got so repetitive and then irritating. It was like koi Meerub ka pahaRa paRh raha hai.
Meerub ekka Meerub
Meerub duni Meerub
~~~
Baby got back
And then Meerub makes an entrance in extremely slo-mo right when the nikaah is taking place (when the scene feels long even at 2.5X, it’s slo-mo). The nikaah hasn’t happened, yet, of course.
Meerub is shocked to see what’s happening there.
Salma Begum goes “haw”.
Murtasim’s eyes go wide as if popping out of the socket.
And Haya is like: haye, phir aa gayi yeh rang mein bhang dalne.
Now, we wait for the finale so all of this ends.
So, that was my take on the latest episode of Tere Bin.
