Veteran actor Behroz Sabzwari is his father. Which means, the legendary Javed Shaikh is his uncle and Shahzad Shaikh and Moomal Shaikh are his cousins.
Incidentally, Shehroz and Shahzad are currently working together in Deewar-e-Shab.
He was married to Syra Yousuf. The couple separated earlier this year.
