Bebasi is a new Hum TV drama that started airing on 12 November 2021. I’m watching it at Hum TV official YouTube channel.

Why am I watching this drama?

Because… why not? I have mentioned the reason in my review for episode 14 of Mehrbano.

But that’s just a superfluos reason. Why should anybody watch this drama? Because Aliya Bukhari is a terrific writer who knows how to pull the reader/viewer into her fictional character and fall in love with them. She’s the one who gave us Deewar-e-Shab.

Since Aliya Bukhari has penned this drama, we know we are in for an emotional gut-wrenching romantic story. If you are not familiar with Aliya’s writing style, you can check out my post here.

The patriarch of the family. He is rude, he is arrogant, he is perpetually angry and irritated, and he blames everything on his daughter and his second wife. In many ways, his character reminds me of Kashf’s father Imtiaz, remember him?
