A little recap of episode 18

Dua has decided to separate from Bobby. Good riddance.

Aye Musht-e-Khak episode 19 written review and update

This episode begins with Tabeen’s rukhsati. I get a feeling that she isn’t too happy about Dua’s importance in Dayaan’s life. But Tabeen and
“Tumhein chheen lunga tum se,” Bobby says.
Shakeela is still defending Bobby, and she asks Dua to relent. Dua doesn’t. I like that Sajjad and Nimra both stand by Dua’s side instead of forcing her to go back to Bobby. No, no. This isn’t where the problem is. The main issue is that Shakeela asks Bobby to lie.
Just lie to them and say that you do believe in Allah..
Uff, Allah!
I don’t blame Bobby. When you have a mother like Shakeela, Allah hi aapko bachaye ilhaad se.
All said and done, the conversation between Bobby and imam sahib is still very well written. Like I said before, this drama is focused on writing dialogues and not on the story itself.
There are two “religious” dramas on air now, on the same channel, and both have such a contrasting theme. Momin was a pious man and he’s shown to be mutakabbir. What is Dua doing? Isn’t she also too proud of her faith? What exactly are these dramas trying to show? If you really want to show religion, at least be consistent.
The episode is by far Feroze Khan’s worst performance. When he was offering imam sahib monies to move out of his way, I had to skip the scene. Argh…
