So, Aziza and her two daughters come to meet Mehrunnisa. Mehrunnisa gives them a cheque only to be interrupted by Minal who talks rubbish and insults the trio.

Dobara episode 27 written update and review

Mahir learns from Shanu about the whole episode. He still hasn’t forgiven his step family, and he tells Mehrunnisa to stop spending on his family. I don’t understand Mahir at times.  I think he should take a chill pill when it comes to his family.

Affan and Mahir have a closure

Affan and Seher are moving out now. The goodbye scene was short and sweet. Seher calls Mahir “bhai” and says goodbye. Later, Affan awkwardly shaking hands with Mahir. It was just a two seconds scene, but boy did it leave a lasting impact.

Naheed wants to meet Jehangir

Naheed is upset with Mahir’s decision. She meets Jehangir at his house. That scene was painful to watch. Naheed insults Aziza, taunts them of being greedy of Mehrunnisa’s wealth, and not being the good parents. I rolled my eyes so hard. Really? Does she know what she is talking about? Has she been a good parent?

This Naheed fiasco is followed by a heart-to-heart talk between Aziza and Jehangir, and it was one of the best scenes of this drama. This was another much-needed closure.

The “Shagufta ki behen Nadiya” angle is back

Zameer’s brother Aziz brings up the topic again, and suggests that Zameer could marry Nadiya in exchange of a shitload of money. I’m pretty sure Zameer would cave under the pressure. Zameer meets Nadiya, and guess who spots them together? Mehrunnisa, that’s who. Nabeel has always looked good, but in this scene in that blue shirt, he was like sizzling…

Haha Moment (Just one)

“Aik number ke doh number aadmi ho tum,” Babar tells Mahir.

Review

The best scene of this episode was Affan awkwardly shaking hands with Mahir. It was just a short scene which touched my heart ek dum thah karke. Osama is quite good. I want to see his new drama “Aik Sitam Aur”. I think it would be a fun hate-to-love romance, but his equation with his father (in the drama) was so upsetting. So… I might consider watching it after the Ramzan.

But forget that. In this episode, I want to talk about Fareeda Shabbir. Oh my god, she has been a good actor all this while but in these two episodes I just loved her. She’s so pretty, and with her change-of-heart, I have begun to admire her even more. Her little confession with Jehangir was so good. And their obvious chemistry speaks for itself whenever they are together.
