Pyari Mona Episode 13 Written Update and Review

Assalam Alaikum, fellow drama lovers!

It’s me, Shabana Mukhtar, and I’m back with a recap and review of the 13th episode of “Pyari Mona”. Trust me when I say that this episode had me smiling, tearing up, and yawning all at the same time. Let’s dive right in, shall we?

Mona, Irfan and Kinza

First off, Mona is in Lahore and she meets up with her best friend Irfan. While the two get to do some heart-to-heart talk, the mothers of Kinza and Irfan are fretting about their children’s friendship with Mona. I mean, come on, ladies. Why can’t they just be happy that their children have made a new friend?

I don’t understand why these mothers are so worried about nothing. Irfan and his wife Kinza, both are now friends with Mona. Why should there be any mich-mich from others? Please don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that Mona’s friendship with Irfan is justified from Islamic point of view, but in that drama, they are just friends, so just let them be, shall we?

The drama in this show is always on another level, but these mothers are just taking it to a whole new level of absurdity.

Z & Babar

Next, Z and Babar goes out for dinner. On the way back, Z invites Babar in, and the two talk about their “feelings” for each other. The next morning, Z even calls Babar early morning. Theire relationship is moving much faster than I had thought, moving faster than a Ferrari on the highway. I’m still trying to process the fact that they’re even a thing, but hey, love knows no boundaries, right? Z even calls Babar early in the morning, and I’m just like, girl, give the man some space. But hey, if it works for them, who am I to judge?

Babar & Mona

On the other hand, Mona is upset that Babar hasn’t called her in three days. She sends him a picture of herself all dolled up for a wedding, and instead of giving her compliments, he says some pretty hurtful things. I was honestly heartbroken for Mona, but also quite mad at Babar. If he didn’t want to marry her, he shouldn’t have gone through with it. Simple as that. He’s so selfish and such a hypocrite.

Khalid & Shaista

To make matters worse, Khalid sees Babar and Z together and immediately thinks the worst-that Babar might have an affair. He confides in Shaista and shares his worries, who unsurprisingly blames Babar’s philandering ways on Mona’s appearance. I mean, seriously? Why does everything bad that happens have to be Mona’s fault? It’s not like she’s going out of her way to cause drama.

Before I go, let me just say that Sanam Jung’s outfit in this episode was absolutely stunning. I found myself wishing I had it in my own wardrobe. I mean, I know this drama is full of twists and turns, but at least we have some fashion goals to aspire to, right?

That’s all for now, folks. Stay tuned for my next recap and review of “Pyari Mona”. Until then, happy watching!

So long!
