So, let’s not waste any time, shall we? If money were no object, here are three dream jobs that would surely make my heart skip a beat: 

1. Professional Word Wizard (aka Writer)

If money didn’t matter, I would have loved to be a writer.

Ah, the life of a writer! No deadlines, no financial worries, just the sheer bliss of crafting words into intricate tapestries of imagination. I’d be the modern-day Shakespeare, spinning tales of love, laughter, and…well, probably some sarcastic humour too. And I’d do it all while lounging in my PJs, with a cup of tea that refills itself magically.

But, alas! That’s just a dream. I do write some stories, and they are decent, if I don’t call them bestsellers, but they don’t make much money. Not when compared to my day job anyway. At present, my salary is 100X more than what I make as an author. A very loooooooooooong way to go for it to be even considered as a full-time job.

2. Blogging Baron or Baroness

If money didn’t matter, I would also love to spend all my time as a blogger.

Yeah, we are talking about the tedious and overcrowded world of blogging! To share my witty, sarcastic musings with the masses while sipping chai and snacking on samosas (because who needs to worry about calories when money doesn’t matter?). Every day would be a new adventure in the blogosphere, where I’d regale readers with tales of my extraordinary ability to procrastinate and still get paid.

What a life!

3. Professional Slacker (a Job That Doesn’t Exist, but Should)

And finally…

If money didn’t matter, I would absolutely give up everything to be a person who does nothing and gets paid. Alright, I will be honest. This one doesn’t exist, but could we please create such a job? Thank you.

Now, here’s a secret dream I have, the pièce de résistance if you will—an occupation that defies the norms of productivity. Imagine getting paid handsomely for doing absolutely nothing!

Sure, it doesn’t exist in the real world, but can we please make this a thing? I mean, think about it: I’d be the world’s most accomplished do-nothing-ist.

Meetings? Nah.

Deadlines? What are those?

Responsibilities? Oh, please.

Need  I go on?

I guess I should rest my case here. These are my three dream jobs if money were but a mere trifle. And as for that third one, well, let’s start a petition, shall we? Who’s with me in creating the profession of “Professional Slacker”? Because, really, isn’t it about time we rewarded idleness and made lounging around an art form?
