The Tapestry of Time: Three Years from Now

Hey there, lovely readers! 🌼

Shabana Mukhtar is back with today’s daily prompt #2112: What will your life be like in three years?

I’ve no idea nor do I want to know.

In the ever-turning pages of life, peering into the crystal ball to predict my existence three years from now seems both futile and mystifying. The future, as elusive as it is, remains a realm known only to the divine. I harbor no grand illusions of clairvoyance, nor do I desire the burden of knowing what awaits me.

Instead, I entrust my journey to the hands of a higher power, for only Allah possesses the omniscient knowledge of what lies ahead. The tapestry of my life, woven with threads of faith and destiny, unfurls with each passing day, guided by a force greater than human comprehension.

In this enigmatic voyage, I hold but one fervent hope: to be granted the privilege of returning to Makkah. The sacred city, with its hallowed grounds and the Kaaba, stands as a beacon of spiritual devotion. To visit Makkah repeatedly in the coming years would be a blessing beyond measure, a pilgrimage of the heart, and a testament to the profound connection between my soul and the divine.

I stand at the threshold of the unknown, I choose to embrace the uncertainty with an open heart, placing my trust in the wisdom of a higher authority. With faith as my compass, I embark on this journey, embracing the mysteries of tomorrow and the infinite possibilities it may hold.
