India took 6 wickets in less than 10 overs. Isn’t that something?
This reminds me of Asia Cup 2023-the same two teams in the final in Sri Lanka was all out on 50. This was looking much worse at 22/7. I liked how perseverant Rahul was to take that DRS Review. Generally, he does’t appeal so aggressively. This time, our boy was so very confident.
It wasn’t until 13th over that the Sri Lankan batsmen finally began hitting some boundaries. Shami took 5 wickets and thereby breaking the records of highest number of wickets in ODI. Atta boy!
This wicket brings the total to 49/9.
Finally, Jadeja takes the last wicket finishing the game for 55/10. India wins by 302 runs.
This continues India’s winning streak.
PS: This was another short match. The players must be like: let’s go home early today.
PPS: I also notice something. Every time I sit to watch India’s match, Rohit ends up getting a duck. Rohit, buck up, buddy!
PPPS: Virat missed a century again, getting out on 88. Yikes!
