Sukoon Episode 12 Written Update and Review

Hey, drama aficionados! Shabana Mukhtar here, ready to unravel the twists and turns of the latest episode of “Sukoon.”

Forced Unions and Weeping Hearts: Hamdan and Aina’s Unwanted Journey

Okay, so whatever the circumstances are, Hamdan is forced to marry Aina. In a twist of fate, Hamdan finds himself bound to Aina under compelling circumstances. Now, Aina is crying while Hamdan drives in a haze. As he takes her home, the atmosphere is heavy with the weight of their unspoken emotions. Aina’s tears are a poignant reflection of the undesired union, and Hamdan, lost in his thoughts, replays the events that led to this unexpected nikaah.

The scenes are charged with emotion, particularly as Aina laments before the mirror for hours while tending to her wounds. On the other hand, Hamdan keeps replaying the events that led to his nikaah to Aina and grapples with the consequences of choices beyond his control. The narrative skillfully captures the essence of their turmoil, leaving the audience empathizing with the characters’ silent struggles.

Collapse and Chaos: Mehmood’s Health Crisis Unfolds

Back at home, Mehmood, overwhelmed by the tumultuous events, collapses both physically and emotionally. But this happens only after weeping and wailing for what seems like an eternity. His agony pours out in tears and lamentations.

Meanwhile, Sultana, in her characteristic manner, adds more fuel to the emotional fire with disparaging remarks about Abda. The situation escalates, culminating in Mehmood’s rush to the hospital.

Unraveling the Maniac

Usman comes home and acts like a maniac. Let’s just leave it at that. I was never too interested in this character, and yet again I question Adnan Samad Khan’s choices of characters he chooses to play.

Some would say that Usman, portrayed by Adnan Samad Khan and his dramatic and erratic behaviour adds a layer of complexity to the unfolding events. Not for me, though. His maniac act raises questions about the character choices made by the actor. While Usman’s presence had always made me wince, his newfound eccentricity piques my disinterest to newer heights. .

Raza’s Quest for Approval

In this episode, Raza takes center stage as he embarks on a quest to win his father’s approval. He is hell-bent on pleasing his father to achieve his dreams of becoming a photographer. The rebel Raza we once knew, who wouldn’t even share a breakfast table with his father, now seems determined to mend bridges. However, this track feels somewhat lackluster, like a narrative déjà vu. That track was almost like “bleh”.

Review

Having missed a few episodes, I can’t say I felt the void. “Sukoon” seems to have taken a turn that fails to captivate. Despite boasting a good-looking cast and seasoned actors, the storyline appears to have hit a rough patch.

The recent episodes, including this one, lack the compelling narrative that initially drew viewers in. The characters, although portrayed by talented actors, are navigating a plot that seems to be losing its grip on the audience’s attention.

As a reviewer, I must admit that the excitement for “Sukoon” has dwindled. The once-promising drama has now become a sporadic watch, with episode recaps likely to be few and far between.

Until the next turn of events rekindles the flame of intrigue, let’s hope “Sukoon” finds its footing once again. Stay tuned, drama enthusiasts, and brace yourselves for the unpredictable journey that lies ahead in the world of “Sukoon.” Until the next review!.
