Recap

So, the newly-weds are in their room (old staff room). Shaziya comes to see them, awkward, right? On the way back, she falls. Chaos ensues, everyone rushes her to the hospital. Correction, Mujtaba is forced to drive them. So, Khadeeja and Tamkenat stay behind. Tamkenat has a mission: tell Khadeeja stories about how Shaziya and Mujji used to go out , she’d buy shirts for him, make food for him. Kaisi befikri se woh jhoot pe jhoot bolti hai uff Allah.
Hospital mein kuch toh bhi ho raha thha. Mujji had to donate blood and settle the matter with 50k.  Is this really how things work in Pakistan? If not,  why are they portraying unreal things?

Review

It was alright for a second episode, made me reconsider if I should spend time watching it.

Notable Moments

The look on Shaziya’s face, the pain of one-sided love

That teacher Fayeza is also expert of making baat ka batangar, bina rai ka pahad. She confidently says there is a suicide note, blaming things on Mujtaba. Then, she says: aisa hi to hota hai na. Is there a suicide note? We don’t know.

Performance

Sajal stole the show with that phone call to her family, seeking comfort but knowing she can’t tell them anything. And her big expressive eyes, the darkness around, sweaty face. Perfect.
