Qarz-e-Jaan Episode 28 Written Update and Review
Newlyweds Bicker
Okay, so we had left the newlyweds bickering about Ammaar’s unorganised room. And that’s where they still are.

Nashwa’s phone keeps pinging and she ignores it. Ammaar begins to tease her.
Ammaar: I like love stories. Tell me your and Burhan sir’s. When did you meet for the first time? How did he propose?
Mind you, this is the same guy who once said that:
Ammaar: Burhan is a loser. Uski love story shuru hone se pehle hi khatam ho gayi.
Nashwa, being Nashwa, tries to ignore the jabs and tries to explain that there’s nothing between her and Burhan. Of course, it falls on deaf ears. Ke continues to prove: why didn’t he attend? Where was he? Was he mourning Nashwa’s wedding?
But that’s not the problematic part, at least not for me. If it was really Burhan messaging Nashwa, isn’t that terribly wrong? He knows she just got married. If this is the moral compass of a hero, then Ammaar is no different, is he?
Okay, rant over. I just never liked Burhan for Nashwa. Cheap hai bahot.
An Outing Gone Wrong
The next day, the newlyweds are out and the elders are wondering where they are. Barkat teaches Sidra a trick or two to be a typical saas. Sidra’s reaction was amusing.
So, where are Nashwa and Ammaar? Ammaar is driving, clueless about the destination. And then the car stops.
In front of a rehab center.
Smart move, Nashwa, bringing him there the next of marriage without even talking to him. No wonder he ditched her there and took off.
I mean, I liked how calmly she tried to convince Ammaar that rehab is going to help his anger issues, drug addiction, etc. I liked that she didn’t pin the blame on him, and was positive and hopeful but that was stupid move. This is a drama and that’s how things were supposed to happen, but if someone does it IRL, it might have much worse consequences.
Ammaar’s Challenge

After ditching Nashwa on the road, and spending some time smoking stuff, Ammaar comes to his dad’s office and learns about the scuffle with Asad. Did anyone feel that this whole Asad phadda is too sudden? Anywho. Tired of everyone’s taunts and comments (several flashbacks of Burhan, Nashwa and Bakhtiar saying “things” about Ammaar being a loser), Ammaar takes a bold step.
Ammaar says: I’ll fix it my way and don’t you meddle. We see him walking up the stairs of an under-construction building. The promos shows that something bad has happened.
What happened?
Did Asad push Ammaar down?
Or the other way round?
Is anyone dead?
Or it was just a smartly cut teaser to keep the viewers guessing?
I think this under-construction building was what I saw in Nameer’s blog where he said he’s about to film the last scene of the drama. If my assumption is correct, then it’s Ammaar who died, will the next episode be the last? It can’t be. Story seems unfinished. So, I go back to my earlier conclusion: episode 29 teaser is just smartly cut to keep the viewers guessing.
