This book is transliteration of Umera Ahmed’s masterpiece Peer-e-Kaamil WITHOUT HER PERMISSION.

This is only for those readers who understand Urdu but can’t read it. On Goodreads, some people asked meabout Roman transliteration of Peer-e-Kamil. I couldn’t find it, so I made a mental note to try and make it available to others for free when I get time. Then I forgot about it because I never get time.

And this morning, I got this book. Some kind soul had enough time to transliterate, print, and spiral bind and bring it home.

Anyone interested in reading the roman version can borrow from me.

Wo ek diplomat ki biwi thi,aur kuch din pehle hi apne shauhar ke saathislamabad aayin thi.Teaching unka profession tha. Aur jis jis mulk meunke shauhar ki posting hui, wo wahan sifarat khanese munsalik schools me padhati rahi.

Isse pehlebiology padhane wali teacher, Mrs. Marin ki scene ofwork ko hi jaari karte hue, unhone class ke saathkuch ibtedaai taarruf aur gu”agu ke baad, dil aurnizaam dauraan e khoon ka diagram writing boardpar banate hue samjhana shuru kiya.

Diagram kiwazahat karte hue unhone us ladke ko khidki sebahar jhankte hue dekha. Purani echnique kaistemaal kartekarte, apni nazre us ladke par malboosrakhte hue, unhone achanak bolna band kar diya.Class me yak dum khamoshi si chaa gayi. Us ladke nesar ghumakar Andar dekha. Mrs. Samantha Richardsse uski nazar mili. Mrs. Samantha muskurai aur ekbaar phir unhone apna lecture shuru kar diya. Kuchder tak unhone isi tarah apni nazrein us ladke parrakhi, jo ab apni saamne padhi notebook par kuchlikhne me masroof tha.Uske baad Mrs. Samantha ne apni tawajjo class memaujood doosre students par malboos kar li. Unkakhayal tha ki wo khaasa sharminda ho chuka hai aurab dobara bahar nahi dekhega. Magar sirf 2 minutebaad hi unhone use ek baar phir khidki se baaharmutawajjo dekha. Wo ek baar phir bolte boltekhamosh ho gayi. Bila tabaquf us ladke ne gardanmodh kar phir unki taraf dekha. Is baar Mrs.Samantha muskurai nahi, balke qadr e sanjeedgi seuse dekhte hue, ek baar phir lecture dena shuru kardiya. Chand lamhe guzarne ke baad unhone writingboard ko dekhne ke baad us ladke ko dobara dekha,to wo ek baar phir khidki se bahar kuch dekhne memasroof tha.Is baar ghair maisoos taur par unke chehre par kuchnarazgi namudaar hui, aur wo kuch jhunjlate huekhamosh hui aur unke khamosh hoti hi us ladke neek baar phir khidki ke bahar se apni nazrein hata karunki taraf dekha. Is baar us ladke ke maathey par bhikuch shikne they. Ek nazar Mrs. Samantha konagawari se dekh kar, ek baar phir khidki se bahardekhne laga.

Iska andaza is qadar tauheen aamez thake Mrs. Samantha Richards ka chehra surkh ho gaya

“Salar!! Tum kya dekh rahe ho?” Unhone sakhti sepoocha

“Nothing” Yek lafzi jawab aaya. Wo ab chubhti huinazron se unhe dekh raha tha.

“Tumhe pata hai me kya padha rahi hu?”

“Hope so” Usne itne rude andaaz me kaha ke Mrs.Samantha Richards ne yak dum haath me pakda huamarkar cap se band karke maiz par phek diya.

“Ye baat hai to phir yahan aao is diagram ko banakeusko label karo”

Unhone sponge ke saath writingboard ko saaf karte hue kaha. Yak ke baad deegarladke ke chehre par kai rang aaye.Unhone class me baithey hue students ko aapas menazron ka tabaadla karte hue dekha. Wo ladka absard nazron ke saath Samantha Richards ko dekhraha tha. Jaise hi unhone writing board se aakhrinishaan saaf kiya, wo apni kursi se ek jhatke ke saathutha. Tez qadmon ke saath chalte usne table parpadha hua marker uthaya, aur barq ra”aari ke saathboard par diagram banane laga. Poore 2 minutes 57seconds ke baad usne marker par cap laga kar usemaiz par usi andaaz me uchala, jis andaaz meSamantha Richards ne uchala tha. Aur Samantha kodekhe baghair apni kursi par aakar baith gaya.Mrs. Richards ne use markar uchalte ya apni kursi kitaraf jaate nahi dekha, wo beyaqeeni ke aalam mewriting board par 3 minutes se bhi kam arse mebanaye jane wali is labeled diagram ko dekh rahi thi,jise banane me unhone 10 minutes liye they. Aur wounke diagram se zyada achi thi. Wo kahin bhi mamulisi ghalti bhi nahi dhoond saki. Kuch khafeef se hoteunhone gardan modhkar ek baar phir us ladke kodekha, wo phir khidki se bahar dekh raha tha.
