Peer-e-Kaamil | Roman Urdu | Umera Ahmed | Episode 131

Disclaimer

This book is transliteration of Umera Ahmed’s masterpiece Peer-e-Kaamil WITHOUT HER PERMISSION.

This is only for those readers who understand Urdu but can’t read it. On Goodreads, some people asked meabout Roman transliteration of Peer-e-Kamil. I couldn’t find it, so I made a mental note to try and make it available to others for free when I get time. Then I forgot about it because I never get time.

And this morning, I got this book. Some kind soul had enough time to transliterate, print, and spiral bind and bring it home.

Anyone interested in reading the roman version can borrow from me.

And those online can read it here.

P.S. This is NOT English translation. If you want that, it’s available on Amazon.

Apne career ke is stage par is tarah ka ahmaqaana faisla sirf tum hi kar sakta the.” Wo phone par Sikandar Usman ko khamushi se sun raha tha.

“Aakhir itni achi post ko kyun chhod rahe ho aur wo bhi is tarah achanak aur chalo agar chhodne ka faisla kar hi liya hai to phir aa kar apna business karo. Bank mein jaane ki kya tuk banti hai.” Wo uske faisley par buri tarah tanqeed ka rahe the.

“Main ab Pakistan mein kaam karna chahta hoon. Bas usi liye job chhod di. Busines nahin kar sakta aur bank ki offer mere paas bahot arsey thi. Wo mujhe Pakistan post karne par tayyar hain, isi liye main use qubool kar raha hoon.” Usne ne tamaam sawaalon ka ikattha jawaab diya.

“Phir bank koi bhi join mat karo, mere sath aa kar kaam karo.”

“Main nahin kar sakta papa! Mujhe majbur na karein.”

“to phir wahin raho, Pakistan aane ki kya tuk banti hai?”

“Main yahan par reh nahin paa raha.”

“Hubbul-watni ka koi daura pada hua hai tumhein?”

“Nahin………”

“To phir…………?”

“Main aap logon ke paas rehna chahta hoon.” Usne baat badli.

“Khair ye faisla kam az kam hamari wajah se to nahin kiya gaya.” Sikandar Uman ke lehja narm hua.

Salar khamush raha. Sikandar Usman bhi kuch der khamush rahe.

“Faisla to tum kar hi chuke ho. Main ab iske barey mein to kuch nahin kar sakta. Theek hai aana chahte ho aa jao. Kuch arsa bank mein kaam kar ke bhi dekh lo laikin meri khwahish yahi hai ke tum mere sath mere business ko dekho.” Sikandar Usman ne jaise hathiyar daal diye.

“Tumhara to PhD ka bhi irada tha, uska kya hua?” Sikandar Usman ko baat khatm karte karte phir yaad aaya.

“Filhaal main mazeed studies nahin karna chah raha. Ho sakta hai kuch saalon baad PhD ke liye dobara bahar chala jaaun. Ye bhi mumkin hai ke PhD karun hi na.” Salar ne maddham aawaz mein kaha.

“Tum us school ki wajah se aa rahe ho?” Sikandar Usman ne achanak kaha.

“Shayad……..” Salar ne tardeed nahin ki. Wo agar school ko uski waapsi ki wajah samajh rahe the to bhi koi harj nahin tha.

“Ek baar phir soch lo Salar………….!” Sikandar kahe baghair na reh sakey.

“Bahot kam logon ko career mein is tarah ka start milta hai jis tarah ka tumhein mila hai. Tum sun rahe ho?”

“Ji………” Usne sirf ek lafz kaha.

“Baaqi tum mature ho, apne faisley khud kar sakte ho.” Unhon ne taweel call ke ikhtetaam par phone band karne se pehle kaha.

Salar ne phone rakhne ke baad apartment ki diwaron par nazar daudaayi. 18 din baad use ye apartment hamesha ke liye chhod dena tha.
