Muamma Episode 26 Written Update and Review
Four and a half things happened, primarily.
Jahan Aara reminisces how Shahjahan had walked her to the door after fake daku attack. Creepy!
Aashiq comes to see Asiya (Jahan Aara let him out in exchange of Asiya’s promise to “help” her). Asiya knows Jahan Aara had exaggerated things, but she still wants nothing to do with Aashiq except help him momentarily? Inside the house, Asiya apologizes to Jahan Aara for being rude after the divorce. Jahan Aara has the audacity to confess that she exaggerated, and that she does this to separate cheating men from their loving and loyal wices. Seriously? Who gave her the authority.
The “homework” that Jahan Aara has already put in place to avenge Sarfaraz and Rukhsana is about to pay off. The final nail in the coffin? Someone claiming to be Sarfaraz’s wife and mother of his children. This pushes Rukhsana further in the direction she was already headed in. She confessed that the pregnancy was a hoax to get propery papers and that the papers are with Naveed, the guy she intends to marry. She also has divorce papers ready, and Sarfaraz is forced to sign ’em.
Who plays the part of fake wife? Our own Asiya. Remember she promised to help Jahan Aara. Now, she’s also a pawn in Jahan Aara’s hands. She always was, unknowingly but now she knows.
I didn’t like how Rukhsana screamed and came to “tu tadakh” with Sarfaraz. I was also shocked when Sarfaraz showed less reaction on fake pregnancy news and was more concerned about “ghar ke kaghaz”. Shahnaz taunting Sarfaraz after the divorce was in bad taste, in my opinion.
Ayeza goes to maika to be with her older sister Fayeza’s rishta etc and Shahjahan is now home. ALONE. He comes home, coughing. Ayeza had stocked up the fridge with food but Jahan Aara would not let go of this golden chance to hit on Shahjahan , would she? When he gets really sick, she calls the doctor and spends the night in the same room looking after him. I presume because the scene ended with the doctor saying: look after him, and then we see Jahan Aara facing off Sarmad’s goons.
I want to see how Shahjahan would react to Jahan Aara’s advances. Also, why is he not surprised that she showed up when he was alone? Would he be curious and inquisitive about Jahan Aara’s source? We’ll know in next episode.
