Doctor Bahu | Episode 8

Dr. Bahu explores the theme of quiet control hidden behind progressive appearances. In a respected family of doctors, their youngest non-doctor son is married to a doctor—adding another accomplished daughter-in-law to a household where women are not allowed to work.

When the youngest daughter-in-law enters this world, she begins to challenge the unspoken rules, subtly shifting power and exposing buried hypocrisies.

Doctor Bahu Episode 8 Written Update and Review

Confrontations!!!

The bonding time is over. The couple comes to meet Saeeda at the hospital but instead Salman finds out that Farheen is also admitted. He has s childish reaction as usual (+1). Sania raises a fair point, though: why an Oncologist is checking high blood pressure. Shahnawaz doesn’t like this questioning and his way to shut up Sania is… Wait for it… Humiliate her.

I decide who treats which patient. Your family can’t even afford Dr Saad but I arranged it.. all for the family.

And Sania is like: chal bhag. Our family looks poor but we can afford it. (+1)

And then Salman asks Farheen if she’s fine; she lies. (+1)

And then Mina and Faizan do a tu tu main main. (+1)

And then Salman confronts Shahnawaz, settles all the bills for Saeeda. (+1)

And then Mina tells Sania to not get into cooking etc, gives a mini recap of her own life, confusing Sania. This one doesn’t count as confrontation but it sounded like one.

And then Mina and Ambar fight over Faizan. (+1)

Okay, I lost count. This episodes has some sweet moments but felt forced. Abhi itni dosti nahin huyi hai dono ki. Saeeda’s first post was quite nicely written. Overall, not too impressed with the episode, hence the early review I guess. And that I can’t sleep, had too much tea today.
