Doctor Bahu | Episode 26

Dr. Bahu explores the theme of quiet control hidden behind progressive appearances. In a respected family of doctors, their youngest non-doctor son is married to a doctor—adding another accomplished daughter-in-law to a household where women are not allowed to work.

When the youngest daughter-in-law enters this world, she begins to challenge the unspoken rules, subtly shifting power and exposing buried hypocrisies.

Writer: Sanam Mehdi Zaryab.
Directed by: Mehreen Jabbar.

Doctor Bahu Episode 26 Written Update and Review

Salman moved to US, Mina and Faizan are planning to, so is Amber. As for their plan to fool Dr Shahnawaz, I was just thinking: is it so easy to fool him? I don’t think so.

Apparently, Saniya is now a relationship expert and gives Sumaira some gyan on how married life is. She’s qualified to say rhT because hers is so PERFECT for all of two days?

Anywho, the focus on Dr Ahmad the first time he appeared, and in today’s episode, somehow seemed fishy. Is Salman and Saniya going to call things off and Ahmad will be Saniya’s second chance? I’d like that honestly. Salman is not…my favourite, let’s just say that.

Saniya is doing internship at Dr Rubina’s, right, who asks Saniya to be cautious about planning a family and guess what… Yep! Abhi nobody knows. That drama will unfold next week.

The best parts of this episodes were as always with Hajra Yamin: her strength when talking to sasur who’s forever toxic and her vulnerability when talking to her saas who’s just now gotten better; she shines in both scenes. Saba Hameed and Adeel Hussain were good too, and Shahzad Nawaz is almost always perfect. I guess I only have a problem with Kubra’s performance and her character.
