Told you, told you, told you so. Dadi will use her health as an excuse and start talking about “Shabana se shaadi”, “mohabbat” etc. abhi two episodes ago, she was like: why didn’t you tell me the truth and now she’s like: tell her what told me. I hate this dadi. So much.

I liked the opening scene: Shabana-Tauqeer confrontation. I loved how calmly she reminded him that “this place and time is not appropriate such talks”. Tauqeer has money, but bhai ke paas 2 paise ki tameez nahin hai.

We see Yumna, just standing in a beautiful home, staring at a man’s portrait, presumably her father. She looks stunning. Just love Nimra Shahid.

Anywho, Shabana meets dadi and succumbs to the emotional blackmailing and pressure.

Bilal’s video does get viral and a handful of YouTube channels and radios etc now want his interview. Our hero usool ka pakka. He wants to give interview to Saadi only. Which reminds me i have probably not included him in the cast yet. I’ll have to do that soon. But Bilal does give interviews, to be famous and Nusrat seems happy with all this, only from afar. This father-son duo has established distance between them. I don’t think they will ever be like hugging each other… Speaking of which, dadi mage Tauqeer and Kabeer hug in today’s episode. Emotional blackmailing, I tell ya.

Shabana is now confused. Several flashbacks of scene from this very episode later, she decides to at least finish one matter: Salaar. She meets Yumna and learns that Salaar beats Yumna.

Before I continue with the recap and rant; let’s take a pause and salute me.

I just knew about the abuse part and that Yumna is seeking Shabana’s help in the matter. If Shabana really becomes kinda like Millie Calloway, I would love that. Millie from the first two books, that is. Oh, and please do check my reviews on the 3.5 book The Housemaid series.

I know Shabana wouldn’t go that extreme but she will help Yumna, for sure, with her support. Shabana tells Yumna to let go of the bojh that Salaar is, and to put her (Yumna’s) law degree to use instead of feeling “namukammal”.

Hmmm. Interesting.
