Zanjeerain Episode 21 Written Update and Review
Shirin waits for Sohrab in his room, his and Noor’s room. Some audacity this girl has. Noor is at her maika but still… When Sohrab comes in, he isn’t happy to see Shirin, either. Thankfully, Omar Daraz comes in, and both Shirin and Sohrab suddenly chance their tone, their body language.
I was amazed now instantly Sohrab changed to his “affectionate father” role and talked to Omar Daraz. I mean, we all do it in real life as well, like when I’m talking to different people in the meeting, my tone switches automatically. To most, I’m plain and factual, like a robot. To some people, I talk like people. The difference, i guess, is that we don’t see ourselves, and therefore don’t see the contrast.
At hospital, Sohrab comes, sees Bibi Jaan at ICU and suddenly realizes: bahot kar li inki ghulami, let Sar Buland take care of Bibi Jaan.
Bada hi koi matha banda hai bhai.
So, Sar Buland is taking care of Bibi Jaan. And who’s taking care of Sar Buland? Guess? No prizes for guessing… Rabiya, that’s who. At one point, Sar Buland breaks down:
Thank gaya hoon khud ko mazboot dikhate dikhate. sab ka hausla banna hai mujhe, phir mera hausla kaun banega?
Well… That’s life bro. Sab ki baari aati hai, hausla banne ki. At first, it’s our parents, then perhaps older siblings but then comes a time that WE have to be the pillar of support and strength for the whole family, whether you’re a sardar or not.
Yeh to serious baat huyi, the first thought was that. The second thought was expecting Rabiya to say the most cliched romantic line: aap pareshan na hoN. Main hoon na, aapke paas. Hehe.
Sometimes I find myself too juvenile.
Shirin meets Sohrab. They plan, and plot against Sar Buland. Shirin really is the most dangerous of them all. Her, or Zargoon, I want him to be part of some final twist like going to Sar Buland’s side at the end. Wouldn’t that be something interesting?
The episode ends as Rabiya and Sar Buland sit down to eat but Sar Buland suddenly looks alarmed. Why? WHY?
Wait for next week, bradraan-e-islam.
Salaam!
