I get story ideas faster than I can realistically write them.
Some arrive as a single scene. Some come with endings attached. Some disappear within hours if I don’t write them down immediately. For a long time, I treated those ideas like unfinished treasures I had to protect until I had enough time, energy, or skill to fully execute them.
But eventually the backlog became absurd. A lot of writers, myself included, of course, unconsciously treat ideas like intellectual treasure chests that must remain hidden until perfected.
But ideas alone are cheap. Execution creates the real work.
So instead of letting these concepts dissolve into forgotten notebook pages, I’m putting them here. Freely. Publicly. Unfinished.
Some of these may become stories I eventually write myself. Some may never go further than a premise and an ending. And if someone else reads one of these fragments and turns it into something alive, that’s perfectly fine too.
This archive exists so the ideas don’t vanish.
