The Third Wheel (Diary of a Wimpy Kid #7) by Jeff Kinney
Love is in the air – but what does that mean for Greg Heffley?
A Valentine’s Day dance at Greg’s middle school has turned his world upside down. As Greg scrambles to find a date, he’s worried he’ll be left out in the cold on the big night. His best friend, Rowley, doesn’t have any prospects either, but that’s a small consolation.
An unexpected twist gives Greg a partner for the dance and leaves Rowley the odd man out. But a lot can happen in one night, and in the end, you never know who’s going to be lucky in love.

Rant, Recap and Review
Keeping it short…
The biggest challenge I faced in reading this installment is that ebook was crashing now and again. Every time I’d open to read and scroll a little, the app would crash. I thought it was a problem with my iPad so I switched to my iPhone. Crashing continued which I hated because I had only 26 pages left at that point. I was like, come on, don’t make me abandon this book, and please don’t make me download it all on my android phone.
Coming to the story…
Learning to live with unexpected guests, learning to dance, and trying to get a date for valentine day’s dance; this story has the usual Greg Heffley chaos.
Much like Wimpy kid #6, this book didn’t get to its title The Third Wheel till the very end. Though predictable, it was still funny, but I’m not going to spoil who the otrer two people were. I like some doodles very much, and that fact that we had a new character Uncle what’s-his-name? Uncle Gary? He’s a lot like Greg, no? Everything goes wrong for him, too.
To my surprise, this book had at least something good happening to someone, namely uncle Gary. If not Greg, at least Gary has some good luck and won some money. Come to think of it…that’s so unusual in the whole Wimpy kid series, right?
