My nephew (2/5) turned 18 today.
At first, the plan was to go to Haldiram’s. Haldiram’s is…sort of a big deal in our city. But then, birthday boy’s mum was late to come home from school . She’s a teacher, and a co-ordinator which means at times she is at school till 9:30 PM. Today, she reached around 7 PM, directly at my home. While she ate a late lunch (a very late lunch), she changed her mind: Let’s go some place else.
After finishing her very late lunch, she was like: ghar pe hi kar lete party.
Then she went home, and an hour later came a text: Kruncheez.
Finally, nothing happened. We made paneer masala at home, I don’t know what she made for dinner. Around 11:30 PM, my nephew(1/5), brought a 0.5 kg cake. I made three pieces, gave a first one-third to nephew (3/5), second one-third to my brother, and we ate small bits from the third one-third.
And that’s the story of how our plans fluctuate.
