Aap Ki Izzat Episode 8 Written Update and Review
Beena’s Demand
Tabish gets a call from Beena, who demands a divorce. Tabish is miffed, but she doesn’t talk, and her phone isn’t reachable then.
The Mothers
Tabish’s mother and Beena’s mother both discuss Beena and Tabish, both thinking unka bacha masoom hai.
The Search
Tabish meets Chaudhary seeking help and advice. Chaudary is kinda upset that there’s going to be a scandal just before the elections. They go to the police officl, Saad Azhar playing Sadaqat Ali. The investigations are starting. Sadaqat Ali already thinks an extra-marital affair is involved. He didn’t say as much, but we can read between the line.
The phone Beena used was of a tea-stall owner at the railway station. There was another guy with her. Yikes. Was it Behram?
Sadaqat Ali asks Tabish to check lockers etc because in “such situations” women take jewellery etc. And it’s gone, indeed.
Gossip Sesh
Mulazims do their regular gossip catchup session, which I find hilarious
Talha’s Assessment of
Talha is upset that Tabish is always humiliating others, especially Beena. I didn’t think him to be smart enough for noticing anything like this.
Next Round of Investigation
Now, police needs Beena’s photo, which Tabish doesn’t have. They don’t have any latest picture of Beena, which somehow makes Tabish feel guilty. He feels guiltier when he sees which picture Maham has. He recalls how mean he was to Beena.
Sadaqat Ali informs Tabish about Behram Khan, and that Beena had been talking to him constantly.
Shabeena and Maa Ji
Naziya and Shaziya leave their mother. Shabeena comes to see Maa Ji. Shabeena tells Maa Ji why Beena was upset, basically recounting the pain Tabish has inflicted upon Beena, especially shoving her. Maa Ji thinks that Shabeena would know where Beena has gone. She doesn’t.
The flashback shows Beena in a rebel mode. She has made her mind to leave Tabish and she already has someone and something in mind. Initially it seemed abrupt, but now we realize that Beena’s disappearance was premeditated. She took the jewellery, the jewellery she loathed. That’s something.
Review
Loving the drama. Raite mein raita… Suspense, drama, dark comedy, all at once.
