Aap Ki Izzat Episode 15 Written Update and Review
The SHO is still trying to convince Tabish for Beena’s “encounter”.
The two other policemen being a purse and 5000 rupees. This isn’t any ordinary purse. This purse is what old Beena loved but they didn’t have enough money. Later old Tabish bought the purse for Beena’s birthday, and Beena asked for Rs 100, for barkat, to NEVER spend it.
And she kept her promise: she always keeps the money in the same purse, and she never spent that Rs 100 note.
And it contains more memories. Her earing, her locket that they mortgaged back in those days.
Umera Ahmed has used her gentlest side for writing this drama. Such a tear-jerker it is. Ahsan Khan is so freaking good in this scene as he reminisces the event behind every memory saved in that purse. I don’t know if keeping newborns hair a good thing or not, but it sure does make for a good memory and a freaking dramatic scene.

SHO suggests they offer Behram some money to leave Beena. I won’t repeat his words, some of it was crass, but Tabish does agree to talk to Behram. But then he changes: he wants to first talk to Beena. But… Beena has a condition. Ok, four.
- This will be our last meeting
- He will divorce me after this meeting.
- She will meet with him in presence of everyone.
- The knife stays with her.
But then, once the meeting starts, Tabish breaks down. Quietly, Hafiz, SHO and the other policeman step out of the room, closing the door behind.
The conversation was expected, how men use “deen” in their favour. Beena’s monologue was very well written.
Na tum achhe musalman ho, na main acchi musalman hoon. Behtar hoga ki deen ke dayere se bahar re kar baat karein.
Tabish pulls out a small pistol.
Chhuri se maaro gi, bandooq se ya apni bewafayi se?
Ooooh! bhaari line.
Review
Currently, two of Umera Ahmed’s dramas are on air and both have such different tones. It’s almost as if one can’t even say its’ the same writer. I love this.
