Aap Ki Izzat Episode 19 Written Update and Review
Haven’t slept for more than 8 hours in two days. I’m not in a very energetic state but still can’t sleep, so, here are the short notes. Come back 2-3 days later and check the expanded version. Or… not. Who knows if I’ll remember to come back to it, huh?
Tabeena
So, Beena consumes poison, but she’s still alive because… guess what? Tabish has monies and SHO is in cahoots with him and had shared Beena’s whole poison plan.
I think Umera is trying the non-linear narrative in this drama. The payoff isn’t good enough at the end of the non-linear narrative because it’s too immediate. Like we should learn about things two months down the timeline, then the payoff is huge and the twist hits hard. (As Nemrah Ahmed usually manages to do).

Behram ki Biwi
Behram’s wife comes to see Behram with her four kids: three older daughters and the youngest son in her arms. Another subtle jab (so far) at how our society treats women and men because the discrimination starts with girl-child and boy-child.
Aptly cast, has good accent (and looked like a cross between Shobhita Dhulipala and Radhika Apte) but she’s also saying the same thing that Beena has been saying since police station scene began. It’s getting sooooo boringggggggggggggggggg.

The bag is found. Maa Ji allows the maid to bring the bag, open it, but the moment she learns it’s full of jewellery, she sends the maid back. Hehe.

Beena and Behram Ki Biwi
The two women talk. Behram Ki Biwi tells Beena how Behram truly is but still begs for a pardon for the father of her children.
~
Taibish and Behram Ki Biwi
Behram Ki Biwi talks to Tabish. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Tabish pardons the woman. Episode ends.
Review?
Good story but too much repetition. If it was not repeating every sentiment, every line, every “message” every few minutes, I’d have liked it better..
Next episode: Episode 19
Stay tuned for more reviews. Until next time, be a nice person!
